We are looking for a progressive, forward thinking, passionate Risk Analyst who lives and breathes a growth mindset and wants to be a part of an agile team. Working alongside the founding Kado team, you will lead the development of our Risk Management team and initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities will range from designing and implementing risk/compliance strategies while always ensuring the user experience is priority.

Responsibilities

Utilize tools and strategies to identify and take action on fraud or money laundering activities
Take immediate preventative measures to reduce risk of loss to the company
Monitor queues, conduct security reports, and other ad-hoc tasks
Investigate all criminal and suspicious activities directed toward the company and its clients ensuring that proper policy/procedures and legal requirements are followed
Collaborate with various internal teams to identify unusual activities and transactins and escalating them as required
Monitor existing and emerging trends as they relate to the industry and develop strategies to protect the organization and its assets

Requirements

2+ years relevant experience in a similar experience in risk domain (Fraud Investigation / KYC & KYB and Chargebacks)
Extensive knowledge of risk management, security controls and concepts
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
A multitasker, not afraid of a highly dynamic environment and constant change
Ability to take lead on cross functional teams, to drive initiatives and improve internal processes
An innovative and creative mind looking to suggest new solutions to old problems
Ambitous, self-starter and can-do attitude

Bonus points

Multiple years of experience with regulatory compliance in the crypto or finance industry
Multiple years of experience at a fintech company
A deep understanding of the Terra, Solana, and/or Avalanche ecosystem(s) and/or stablecoin market
Excited to work on the future of crypto payments
